Jane Packer's Flower School

Wow!!  Can't believe what a fantastic day I had on Friday at the Jane Packer Flower School.

Gav booked me a place on Jane's Masterclass for my birthday so as you can imagine I have so excited about it since then!!

We started the day making a huge handtied arrangement from:
Dahlia 'Diane'
Hydrangea 'Lime Light'
Rose 'Vendela'
Calla 'Rossetti'

Jane and Duncan demonstrated how to do it and then it was our turn .......

After lunch it was time for the part of the day I was most hoping for - the chance to make one of Jane's signature arrangements .... a Hat Box!

Once again, Jane and Duncan demonstrated the technique, this time, step by step.

Purple and Cream Bouquet

Beautiful Vermeer callas, cream roses and lisianthus.

These flowers were bought from M&S but make a stunning hand tied arrangement.

Beautiful Handtied Bouquets

A collection of handtied bouquets made from pink roses & germinis - perfect for brides or bridesmaids.

Black and White Contemporary Bouquet

This is a modern take on a handtied bouquet.

The 'cage' around the bouquet is made from black wire with pearl beads but can be made from any material including willow which gives a more 'country' look to the bouquet.

Wired Handtied Bouquet

This bouquet contains roses and orchids. Each flower is wired seperately which makes it much lighter than traditional handtied bouquets.

Yellow Bridesmaid Handtied Bouquet

This beautiful bouquet is made from roses, tulips and fresias - it smelt gorgeous!
